Project Description
Served as the IT Director in charge of overseeing all data processing functions. Major initiatives included Y2K
remediations, purchase and install of new distribution software on the AS400, purchase and setup of NT Server network, incorporation of new Macintosh graphic stations in the server environment, as well as
writing cross platform applications in various computer languages such as RPGLE, CL, and dbFast.
In addition to starting the development of a web site, he trained data processing staff in
report programming, database analysis, and structured day to day operations of the AS400 system.
Finally, he was responsible for preparing to move the entire IS portion of the corporation to a new
location several towns away. Duties included the hiring of jobbers to handle cabling, telephones, and moving. He reported to the CEO and General Manager. |
